Samsung is gearing up to unleash its latest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are expected to be launched on Mar. 29 and the sale of the handsets start in April. The tech giant has almost doubled Galaxy S8's first shipments, which is about 40 percent higher from the 12 million units of the Galaxy S7.

Samsung's next flagship, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, are widely speculated to be launched at the tech company's March 29 event. Now, the tech giant has reportedly doubled the smartphones' productions. Also, Samsung's Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone has been spotted again on Samsung's support page, and new concept-based renders of the smartphone have mounted up on the internet.

The productions for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have already been pumped up and the shipments have doubled as well. The first shipments of the Galaxy S8 phablet are reportedly 40 percent higher compared to Galaxy S7 units released last year. Moreover, the South Korean tech company is reportedly prepping for the upcoming iPhone launch by securing additional OLED panels, The Investor reported.

In terms of prices, as the Galaxy S7 can be purchased for £619 ($771) and the Galaxy S6 is available for £110 ($159), the Galaxy S8 is expected to be in the region of £600 or $748. Nonetheless, the tech company has not revealed the exact price of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. In spite of that, customer's in South Korea who purchased the Note 7 can get some price cut on Samsung's latest flagships by trading in the old model, according to The Sun.

That being the case, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come along with a 6.2-inch curved 2K AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chips, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
