The gaming world is about to get some big lift this week. Razer announced some big updates for its 14-inch gaming laptop Razer Blade this week, making it much faster and even more powerful.

Razer Blade Updated

According to MS Power User, the Irvine, California-based hardware player is updating its 14-inch Razer Blad with the latest Intel's seventh generation Kaby Lake processors along with a new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics and a whopping 16 GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory running at a blazing speed of 2400 MHz.

Additionally, Razer is also adding a new 4K UHD touchscreen option later this year. The 4K addition is said to bring significant improvement in picture quality and gaming experience.

Aside from the 4K gaming capability, the Razer Blade will also feature a new killer Wireless-AC and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. It will also offer PCIe SSD storage options up to a terabyte, thus providing fast data transfer speeds.

Other key features include an accurate anti-ghosting keyboard developed by Razer Chroma. This keyboard technology is said to unlock a color palette of 16.8 million colors and a virtually endless array of keyboard lighting effects which can be customized and synchronized to display high-quality in-game events.

Razer Blade Price And Availability

According to Ars Technica, price with the newly upgraded Razer Blade will start at $1,899 and will be made available in North America and Europe at Razer Blade official website and in-person at Razer Store in San Francisco starting today. The Razer Blade 4K touchscreen is expected to be made available sometime in second quarter of this year.
