For most college students, college life is a time not only to prepare for their future but also the beginning of their life as an adult. However, it is also a time of fun and partying and college campuses have been the scene of a lot of parties. Here are 5 of the top party universities and colleges in America according to the Princeton Review.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has been named as one of the best universities in America in various aspects. But when it comes to partying, students of UW-Madison sure know how to party as they grab the top spot for this year's top party universities and colleges in America. It also wins the top spot for having 'lots of beer' and fourth in the most LGBTQ-friendly category.

West Virginia University

Coming in second after UW-Madison is West Virginia University. Although the location of WVU seems to be a disadvantage compared to other universities, the student body knows exactly how to make up for its lack. WVU has a number of activities that will surely make college life more enjoyable other than studying. Moreover, it hosts big music festivals every semester but most of all, it allows students to drink beer inside the stadium.

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The UIUC earns the third spot when it comes to partying as the school holds a lot of big parties on campus. One of the biggest parties of the university is "Unofficial," a weekend filled with parties where students can start drinking at 8 or 9 a.m. Aside from this, UIUC students also love going out frequently and go drinking in bars.

Lehigh University

Lehigh University lives by its unofficial motto to thrive well in social life and perform well in school. Thus, it has both appeared as one of the best schools in America when it comes to the quality of education as well as in partying. Aside from being the fifth university in this list, Lehigh also landed a spot as the 16th in Lots of Hard Liquor List and 7th in the Lots of Beer List in 2014.

Bucknell University

To complete the top 5 party colleges and universities in America is Bucknell University. What makes this university become one of the top five despite its location is its "house party weekend," where the houses go by special code names, such as Taj Mahal and Shark Tank. According to Coed, there was a time when a student rage committee was formed because the college canceled the house party.
