Although Samsung is waiting for the Mobile World Congress 2017 until the release of its next generation flagship devices, the tech world is served with few details of its upcoming tablet, dubbed as Galaxy Tab Pro S2, after a recent citing in regulatory body FCC. The latest documentation reveals a hefty 5070 mAh battery and Windows 10-based operating system inside the tablet.

After receiving its Bluetooth certification, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 appears to pass another certification catered by USA's communications regulatory FCC. The latest filing was first reported by the tech blog The Leaker, which revealed the key specs and hardware of the tablet.

According to the said listing, the Samsung tablet bears the model number SM-W727V and features a Gorilla Glass protected 12-inch Super AMOLED screen, resulting to a 1440 x 2166 resolution.

Under the hood, the upcoming Galaxy TabPro S2 will pack an Intel Core i5-7200 7th Generation processor clocked at 3.1GHz. It will also be equipped with integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. Inside, the said tablet also comes with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is further expanded through an SD card slot.

In the optics department, the Galaxy TabPro S2 sports a 13-megapixel primary rear camera on board, as well as a 5-megapixel front snapper that is perfect for selfies and video calling.

The key selling point of the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 is its huge 5070mAh battery, which should keep its lights on for days even with active Wi-Fi connectivity. The hefty battery will even be effective with the 25W Turbo Charger that comes with the tablet. Also, its operating system will be packed with Windows 10 pre-installed.

Following the listing, the tablet displays the Verizon logo found on the FCC's drawings, which confirms that the said carrier will offer the Galaxy TabPro S2, Phone Arena reported. On other reports, the Samsung tablet is expected to be offered with two variants, one with Wi-Fi connectivity and the other with Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity. The tablet will support the S Pen and the Type Cover accessories.

Its connectivity options include two USB 3.0 Type-C ports, Bluetooth 4.1, LTE and Dual band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC Wi-Fi support.

With the FCC's reputation of hinting releases for smartphones and electronic devices, the South Korean giant has not confirmed the device's actual existence. Spectators should wait until the MWC 2017 trade show for the tablet's possible launch.
