Microsoft this week introduced an improved site for the official Microsoft Office 365 Roadmap site. Like the other company's products roadmaps, the new Roadmap site is an easy way of keeping track of what features and great news the software company is currently working on the table.

Microsoft Introduces The New Roadmap Site

Brian Levenson, Office 365, Product Marketing Manager, has made the big announcement this week, Neowin.net reported. 

The Microsoft Office manager also explained that the new site will offer a more improved mobile experience, making it easier for everyone to review details of items on the roadmap.

Just like the previous Office roadmap site, the newly released Roadmap site will give the users a good place to see what new features are still in development, what's already been released in the wild, and what's currently rolling out in the market.

Another big addition to the new roadmap site is that each item now has a unique ID, something that Levenson is planning to use also in Message Center communications.

In addition to the unique ID system, there's also separate sections where the users can see which features have already been canceled.

Why Microsoft Releases A New Roadmap Site

As mentioned earlier by MS Power User, the new roadmap site may have some issues related to accessibility and navigation, as Levenson said earlier that they released it early due to an issue with the previous Roadmap site.

Microsoft is reportedly working to address these issues. So the crowd can still expect more improvements and accessibility features coming to the site in the next couple of days.

First released in June 2011, Microsoft Office 365 refers to a group of cloud-based software and services offerings that provide productivity software and related services to subscribers or Microsoft customers.

The cloud-based software suite is available in a number of different subscription plans aimed at different needs and market segments, providing Microsoft customers with different sets of features and functionalities at different price points.

The different subscription plans include Personal, Home, Business, Business Essentials, Business Premium, ProPlus, Midsize Business, Enterprise, and Office 365 services operated by the Chinese partner 21Vianet.
