"Scorpion" season 3 episode 16 "Keep it in Check, Mate" spoilers hint Walter and Sylvester entering an international competition. In addition, CBS has released the official synopsis for episode 17 and episode titles for episodes 18, 19, and 20.

According to the official episode description of "Scorpion" season 3 episode 16, Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) and Sylvester Dodd (Ari Stidham) will go undercover. The two disguises themselves and enters a chess competition "to extricate a U.S. spy before her identity is exposed."

Moreover, the promo for the "Scorpion" season 3 episode 16 also says that Team Scorpion will be playing as the knight in this story arc. Meanwhile, their two geniuses, on the other hand, competes with the chess' greatest players to pull up this risky assignment.

As per Cartermatt's report, the 16th episode of "Scorpion" season 3 will surely have another expected turn of events as the Team Scorpion is known for not following their original plan. These events might even put Walter and Sylvester in a deep trouble.

"Scorpion" season 3 episode 16 will guest stars Jamie McShane as Patrick Quinn, Sarah Ripard as Official. As for the upcoming 17th episode of "Scorpion" season 3 entitled "Dirty Seeds, Done Dirt Cheap", the synopsis says: "When a simple mission to protect a vital seed bank goes awry, Team Scorpion must save Happy, Sylvester and Cabe, who begin suffering from life-threatening, fear-based hallucinations."

On a different note, "Scorpion" season 3 episodes 18, 19, and 20 will have these titles: episode 18 "Don't Burst My Bubble", episode 19 "Monkey See, Monkey Poo", episode 20 "Broken Wind".
