Better Graphics and Faster Performance for Lenovo Yoga 720

As the Mobile World Congress 2017 is fast approaching, rumor mills have started to grind for the major tech products manufacturer in the world. The latest one refers to the mid-range laptop of Lenovo the Yoga 720 that is reportedly refreshed with NVIDIA GTX 1050 for GPU and Intel Kaby Lake processor.

Lenovo Yoga 720 is expected to come in two variants, the 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch both are convertibles, slimmed-down screen bezels and a bit thinner compared to its predecessor the Lenovo Yoga 710. According to Tech Radar, while both have received major upgrades into Intel Kaby Lake processors, NVIDIA GTX 1050 is only given to the larger version.

Specs-wise, 13.3-inch Lenovo Yoga 720 runs the following hardware: Core i5-7200U, 8GB to 16GB of DDR4 system memory with 2133MHz clockspeed and 256GB or 512GB SSD for the internal storage. On the other hand, the 15.6-inch version is powered by the following component: Core i7-7700HQ, NVIDIA GTX 1050 GPU, 2GB of video RAM and larger battery.

Other Added Specs and Features to Lenovo Yoga 720

One notable feature that was added to Lenovo Yoga 720 is the fingerprint reader as an enhancement to the device's security feature. According to MSPower User, both models will flaunt the scanner and will be located around the palm rest.

When it comes to connectivity, the laptops will also be sporting the following: (one) USB 3.0 port, (two) USB 3.1 ports, (one) USB Type-C port, 2x2 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1. Both laptops are also expected to come with Dolby Audio Premium and a JBL sound system.

Furthermore, the Windows 10-powered Lenovo Yoga 720 will be available in three color variants - Iron Grey, Platinum Silver and Rose Gold. The notebooks are presumed to be launched during the Mobile World Congress this coming February at Barcelona, Spain.
