It's been months since MacBook Pro refreshes arrived but the references on its 2017's edition have been popping out - showing the least expected upgrades.

It is obvious that the next-gen MacBook Pro will be getting newer chipset and better performance. Intel Kaby Lake will reportedly be in tow but what's even more interesting is a list of references leaked by Pike Universum.

The blog claimed that there are three motherboards that don't correspond with the current models. Furthering the detail, it listed a complete CPU changes for each model.

For instance, the next 13-inch MacBook Pro Touch Bar will be using Intel Core i5-7260U 2.2GHz (max Turbo Boost 3.4 GHz) with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 (15W). This is noted as a slight refresh from Intel Core i5-6267U 2.9 GHz (max Turbo Boost 3.3 GHz) with Intel Iris Graphics 550 (28W).

The fans, however, are not all excited with the upcoming MacBook Pro 2017 if the said upgrades are to be believed. This is due to the fact that there isn't any big leap from its previous series.

The faithful are already annoyed with the 2016's MacBook Pro that doesn't use Kaby Lake and bringing it to the next edition would mean a rather-old specced notebook.

It is probably too early to discuss the price but there shouldn't be a big difference from its predecessor. However, Apple could be equipping MacBook Pro 2017 with new and radical feature; just like the way it surprised the crowds with OLED touch bar introduction last year.

This will potentially enable the company to up the pricing a little bit more. Apple will reportedly release MacBook Pro 2017 in October, Tech Radar reported.
