LG G6 is said to pack a new display called the Full Vision. The phone design will be almost bezel-less, which according to GSM Arena, will improve the visual experience. The G5 isn't lauded for its poor performance and with G6 coming this month, LG is expected to bring a lot of improvements. One of the upgrades includes bringing Google Assistant to the device.

This will make LG G6 the first non-Google smartphone to feature the voice-activated AI. Previously, there was a speculation that hinted at the use of Alexa based on the many LG products that features Amazon's digital assistant, according to CNET. However, it seems that LG changed its mind and will put Alexa on its other future smartphones instead.

LG G6 is reportedly getting a water-resistant chassis, which sacrifices the removable battery. G6 will thankfully, not be a modular phone like its predecessor, as expected. A Snapdragon 821 is chosen for powering the handset and this is a bit disappointing since the tech geeks are expecting at least Snapdragon 835.

Previously, there were reports on the weird aspect ratio that LG is using for G6 and this seems to come to fruition. The device will sport a 5.7-inch QHD+ display with 18:9 ratio (2,880 x 1,440 pixels resolution). For full details on the odd things that will be shipped with LG G6, check here.
