There are a few speculated devices said to be using Andromeda OS but apparently, a recent report suggests a different thing.

Microsoft is developing Andromeda

Andromeda will reportedly be the new desktop experience that Microsoft is currently working on. It's reported that there will be big improvements coming to Microsoft devices, according to MsPowerUser. 

Andromeda and Windows 10 will bring better Continuum support and improved notification orders. On top of that, a mobile device could have a PC-like performance with the new technology on board. Furthermore, the new concept will be able to run on all types of Microsoft devices and adapt to the aspect ratio of the screen.

Previously, reputable tipster Walking Cat leaked the Composable Shell (CSHELL) on Twitter. The speculations now point towards Surface Phone and the Surface Pro devices - which will fit perfectly with Andromeda.

Google Andromeda OS

The tech geeks must have been familiar with Andromeda as it reportedly part of Google's next project for its Nexus 7 (or Pixel) tablet. Plenty of information from notable sources have come to believe that the hybrid OS will come pre-installed on a convertible laptop and a Huawei Nexus tablet. However, there hasn't been any update that could support the argument.

Andromeda is said to be the new OS as a result of merging Chrome and Android into one. However, ChromeUnboxed learned from Google's Hiroshi Lockheimer that both can benefit to each other and if ever both are combined, that would be a 'cross-pollinated' system instead of a merge.

The detail is still scarce at the moment and the leaks are to be taken with a grain of salt. However, everything remains to be seen regardless which tech giant will be using Andromeda for any purpose.
