"Fire Emblem Heroes" will receive a robust regimen of updates, as frequent as once in every two weeks according to its developer. However, players are now asking if future updates could also rebalance the game, prompted by Takumi's unfair advantage and unmatched skill sets.

Nintendo is set to provide a post-launch push for its smartphone strategy game to engage more players for the coming months or even years. The Japanese learned from the mistakes of the "Super Mario Run" by understanding that longevity is an invaluable element to a successful game in mobile.

Nintendo's problem before is that it offered a one-time only purchase of the classic game with no paid DLC. There was only one event launched for the game and no substantial updates soon after.

With "Fire Emblem Heroes," the Japanese are employing a different strategy which is to add content to entice players to gamble on new characters by buying orbs, Forbes reported. The updates will also include new characters, new skills and game mode that differ from the existing gameplay as revealed by game director Kouhei Maeda.

Meanwhile, players have taken to Redditt to rant about Takumi and his unrivaled skill sets, giving teams who have summoned him an unfair advantage, according to Polygon. Takumi is the strongest character from "Fire Emblem Fates" with impressive archery skills from both long and short range.

He is one character that has polarized the "Heroes" community with some making him an instant favorite while others hate his unfair advantage. Players know that once Takumi is summoned, they are guaranteed of winning a battle.

This is why players are constantly trying to summon Takumi through the popular and time-consuming method of re-rolling. At the beginning of the game, "Heroes" showers players with orbs to summon characters. Ideally, it is best to get a 5-stars character from the get-go. If this does not happen, players have to re-roll and go through the tedious tutorials once again.

However, Nintendo has yet to reveal if it plans to rebalance the game and address the Takumi issue. For now, only re-rolling is the only available option. For those who have not yet played the game, "Heroes" has just been released last week to the iPhone and Android smartphones.
