It seems that the route is clear for AMD to go ahead - launching its Ryzen CPU and Vega GPU in March. Here's more detail!

AMD Ryzen CPU

When AMD introduced its Ryzen CPU at CES 2017, there isn't much to reveal about the hardware detail. However, it's been lauded for the power and performance.

The leaks on R5 and R3, if they are to be believed, offer a great deal of specs comparable to Intel Core i5 and i7 variants. This could also mean that AMD will place Ryzen in the mid-range shelf with similar pricing.  

AMD made a comparison, placing both, its CPU and Intel's head to head. Surprisingly, it was able to compete with Intel's architecture. In addition to its introduction, AMD has also claimed that its Ryzen will be 'the most significant' consumer product to date.

AMD is pretty confident in investing in a powerful CPU that it already has plans for Zen 2 and Zen 3.

Lisa Su confirmed that AMD Ryzen will be launched on early March, according to PC World.

AMD Vega GPU

While Ryzen will appear in early March, AMD also revealed that Vega-architecture graphics card will make its way sometime in Q2 2017, Forbes reported.

It's been said that the upcoming Vega GPU will apply new technology to transfer massive data volumes every second. The GPU is not only intended for gaming purpose but a wider range of applications.

There hasn't been much to dig on the Vega 10 specifications and the crowds have come to believe that AMD could be launching 500 series instead of 400 that could surpass GTX 1080 performance.

The Vega-based GPU will reportedly support 4096 cores, 16 GB HBM2 and 2,048 bit memory bus.
