The cast of "Pitch Perfect 3" have started rehearsing scenes in time for the Universal film's imminent shooting. As expected, the Barden Bellas crushed their routines in just day one.

A 42-second video posted on the official "Pitch Perfect 3" Twitter account showed Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Hailee Steinfeld, Hana Mae Lee, Chrissie Fit and the rest of the cast rehearsing three of their performances in the installment. The girls gave their best moves, with one of them describing the flick's music as "harder than ever and better than ever." Watch the clip below.

Ruby Rose, who recently joined the upcoming movie's ensemble, also started rehearsals and revealed that the film will begin shooting in three weeks, ET reported. The actress added that she's a "huge fan" of Kendrick, Wilson and Elizabeth Banks, so "getting on stage the other day and singing in front of everyone as a bit of a rehearsal was invigorating."

The cast is sure to be having fun hanging out with each other both on and off-screen. This week, Snow shared an Instagram photo of herself along with the film's cast in a theme party. The cast members dressed up as stereotypical family members that you really don't want to see in a reunion.

Banks and John Michael Higgins are reprising their roles as a capella competition commentators. Andy Allo and rapper Trinidad James are also on-board the musical franchise as members of a rival a cappella singing team, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A series of photos obtained by Daily Mail showed Kendrick filming a scene in Atlanta as Beca Mitchell. The pictures showed the actress walking on the street, while Banks and Higgins' characters follow her.

The duo didn't try to appear subtle in approaching Beca while carrying their camera and boom mic. Beca, on the other hand, is trying to look unaffected and absorbed in the music playing through her earphones.

The second installment has a successful opening ($69 million) in theaters in 2015. It earned more than $287 million in five days and dethroned 2003's "School of Rock" as the highest-grossing music comedy film of all-time. The Jack Black-starrer, in contrast, earned $131 million. The upcoming follow-up is expected to have a successful box office run, too.

"Pitch Perfect 3" is bowing in theaters on Dec. 22, 2017, with Trish Sie directing from a script written by Kay Cannon. Are you aca-excited for the film? Sound off in the comments section below!
