"The LEGO Movie 2" is still years away from release but the cast and crew are already deep in development. Just recently, Will Arnett confirmed that he will reprise his voice role as the Batman in the sequel.

The "Arrested Development" star revealed his involvement in the follow-up movie to Express.co.uk. According to Arnett, they are "starting to work" on the "really fun" sequel. The actor stressed that he can't reveal anything about the film yet because the process is still early, but he said that Batman is "firmly at the center of it."

The movie is set to bow in theaters on Feb. 8, 2019, with Chris McKay directing and Jared Stern and Michelle Morgan writing the script, Cinema Blend reported. Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Ferrell, Charlie Day and Nick Offerman are all expected to return as the sequel's main voice cast.

Prior to "The LEGO Movie 2," Arnett's Batman will star in his own movie releasing on Friday, Feb. 10, "The LEGO Batman Movie." Arnett acknowledged that the solo film's creation was due to the success of "The LEGO Movie," adding that the full credit goes to Phil Lord and Chris Miller (the original flick's director and writer). Arnett praised the two guys for taking advantage of the Lego world and creating an entire movie based on that.

Photos have surfaced recently offering a first look at the new vehicles featured in "The LEGO Batman Movie." The images were provided by Lego as their new toy sets and highlighted the villains Bane, Two-Face, Scarecrow and Harley Quinn.

The vehicles appear both silly and fun, fitting the tone set by the 2014 original "LEGO" movie. The company will unveil the toy sets in New York's Toy Fair this month, with the official market release happening in June. Check out the toys over on The Hollywood Reporter.

The toys showcase a vehicle as the main play build, with the Scarecrow Fearful Face-off set ($14.99) featuring Batman battling Scarecrow and his Gyro-Copter. The latter comes with top and rear spinning rotors, two bomb-drops, an adjustable rudder and three translucent-green fear gas bomb elements.

The Bane Toxic Truck Attack set has the iconic villain's 6-by-6 Toxic Truck. The set costs $49.99 and also features six large wheels and an adjustable six-stud rapid shooter with target-sighting capability.

There's the Batwing and Two-Face Double Demolition sets too, with the former as the priciest at $89.99. The Batwing features a Harley Quinn mini-figure, while the latter comes with a Two-Face mini-figure, Batman and two Gotham City police officers. The Two-Face Double Demolition ($59.99) features two vehicles: an excavator and the Batcycle.
