"Overwatch" is getting another makeover, but this time it is all about Bastion. The popular character about takes some major overhaul. Blizzard has just released details about what exactly the change will be.

According to GameSpot, Blizzard chief designer Geoff Goodman previously posted on the official "Overwatch" forum that he was at work on "some changes" for the Bastion character.

In that same thread in the said game forum, Goodman also identifies three key areas that may receive significant changes.

Blizzard To Focus On Bastion

Bastion is well-known for its self-healing and turret ability, which made him one of the most popular characters in the Blizzard's team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game.

However, Bastion has gone largely unnoticed and untouched since the game launched last year, whereas other characters have seen some remarkable improvements.

According to Overwatch Tracker, Bastion has among the lowest win rates and playtime of any character in the Blizzard's first-person shooter game.

Key Areas Blizzard will be focusing

The Blizzard principal designer has also mentioned the key areas the company is currently focusing. Goodman also provides some good ideas where the change will be made.

Recon Mode, which said to be Bastion's default configuration, will also be receiving a decreased shot spread and an increased magazine size, to help with general viability in this mode.

In Sentry Mode, Blizzard is looking at focusing this mode into more of a tank-buster and barrier-buster mode, while at the same time, also making it feel less suicidal to be transformed. To that end, Blizzard is testing stuff like increased spread and removing headshots, but taking less damage while transformed.

Bastion's Self-Repair ability will also receive significant improvements and some adjustments, which what Goodman described as "a few big changes."

Currently, the game's internal build allows Bastion to use Self-Repair while moving and suffering damage- Bastion need to remain stationary to use the Self-repair ability and it's interrupted when Bastion takes the hit.

Finally, the "Overwatch" principal designer ends his forum post by saying things are still being tested and tweaked and that a new PTR build would be coming soon that reflects these changes, according to iDigital Times.
