MWC 2017 is around the corner and leaks of the alleged Sony Xperia XZ 2017 have been circulating - long enough - for the crowds to assume that the upcoming handset will steal the show.

Sony will reportedly launch 5 Xperia phones at MWC 2017 and if leaks are to be believed, one of these devices will pack impressive hardware setups that could be a direct rival for Google Pixel and iPhone 7

Sharp image reproduction

The leaked Sony Xperia device is said to boast 3,840 x 2,160 pixels display. It is a Daydream-ready smartphone that could use 6 GB of RAM on board.

Expandable storage

One favorite thing from the current Xperia XZ handset that people love, is the fact that it features expandable storage - something that Google Pixel and iPhone 7 are lacking of.

The alleged Xperia XZ successor should support MicroSD card for memory expansion.

Smooth performance

Sony could be all out when offering its top-tier handset. According to Slashgear, the device codenamed Yoshino will have a Snapdragon 835 chip under the hood.

Media powerhouse

The specifications fit perfectly for an Xperia XZ iteration, especially when the rumored optics pair 23 MP with 16 MP sensors.

The new Xperia XZ 2017 will be an eccentric device that offers detailed shots and hi-res audio for great experience, just like its predecessor.

Sony MWC 2017

Numerous sources have reported that Sony will come fully-equipped with 5 new Xperia smartphones for Mobile World Congress this year. According to SumahoInfo, the phones haven't been named yet but five codenames and their respective specs have appeared online.

Yoshino is the alleged Xperia XZ 2017 that packs premium hardware. BlancRight is a mid-ranger sporting 4 gigs of RAM and 5.5-inch display. Keyaki and Hinoki are MediaTek-powered handsets whilst Hinoki could be Sony's offering for entry level but there isn't much to reveal about the specs.
