Who is excited for "Avengers: Infinity War" next year?

Production for the highly anticipated movie has just started last week and its star-studded cast is more than excited about it. According to MovieWeb, "Avengers: Infinity War" Directors Anthony and Joe Russo, as well as Sean Gunn (Kraglin in "Guardians of the Galaxy"), have already uploaded photos while they are on the film's set in Atlanta and along with it, a first look at the new movie logo. But what is more exciting is that another star has been confirmed to join the upcoming film's cast.

Pom Klementieff, who will portray Mantis in this year's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," posted on her Instagram account (@pomin8r) a photo of her wearing a cap with the "Infinity War" logo on it. She also posted a photo of an old Marvel Comics issue of "The Avengers" just a week ago, where her character is shown on the cover to be arguing with Vision and Thor over who should be trusted, as well as a supporting title that states "Special Shock Issue! The Origin of Mantis!"

While there are no details yet regarding Mantis' ultimate role in "Infinity War," it is worth noting that the Guardians are slated to join the Avengers in a quest to stop Thanos from gathering all the Infinity Stones and destroying the entire universe in the upcoming film. Since Pom's character will debut and will be introduced as one of the Guardians in Vol. 2 of "Guardians of the Galaxy," she will definitely be more than just someone with empathetic powers.

In another recent Instagram post, Karen Gillan (Nebula in "Guardian of the Galaxy") was shown flying to the United States, as reported by ComicBook. Her character is well-known as Thanos' daughter and Gamora's adoptive sister. What her role will be in "Infinity War" also remains to be seen.
