The Microsoft Windows 10 Build 15019 brings new game mode and Beam streaming features aimed to enhance a gaming experience. However, the gaming-focused Insider Preview is still at its beta-testing, bringing a host of game-breaking bugs that lead to crashes, reduced screens, and other glitches.

Microsoft brings new enhancements for gamers built into the Window 10 OS. Game Mode is a feature specific to PC now modified to make games run smoothly. This is done by minimizing the resources used by background tasks and allocating all resources that the PC can spare to the game.

Moreover, the customization tools in the Game Mode reveal entirely new gaming area and customization of the Game Bar as well as a quick access to Xbox apps. The Game DVR can record from one to two hours and the frames per second can also be modified as seen in a walkthrough video from Windows Central.

Late last year, Microsoft has purchased Beam with its live streaming technology. The Windows 10 Build 15019 now adds Beam streaming functionality, which enables Windows 10 and Xbox players to broadcast their games on the internet. This means that players do not need to access any additional software to broadcast how fast they drive in "Forza Horizon 3."

There are other new features also included in the new Build like a new version of Edge. The latest version reads ebooks out loud for a better out-of-the-box experience. It also comes with voice actors serving as a guide for the entire process, PC World reported.

However, the gaming-focused Insider Preview also brings with it some annoying game-breaking bugs. Microsoft Insider chief Dona Sarkar admits that there may be issues experienced with the latest Build and adds that the decision to release it at the beta-testing stage is to get valuable feedback from users.

Microsoft has previously warned that there are popular games that may experience crashes or black screens with the new Windows Build 15019. Other issues include a minimized and unplayable screen when loading some games or on clicking some elements in a Win32 game.
