"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is not only exciting because of the series storyline but also because "Winds Of Winter" is finally having a release date. In addition to GOT fans excitement, another book is slated to be released entitled "Book of Swords." The said book is reportedly a continuation from "A Song of Ice and Fire" short stories.

According to Vulture, George R.R. Martin is quite sure that "Winds of Winter" is definitely coming out before the year ends. From this fact, a new speculation rises up stating that the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will lead to us to "Winds of Winter" timeline and the said book will be officially released by then. However, another book is expected to be released in the same year as a quick follow up.

Prior to "Game of Thrones" TV series, George R.R. Martin has been releasing short stories and this year he plans to release a new one as a sequel for the "Winds of Winter." The new book will be called "Book of Swords" according to Gizmodo.

In its Amazon listing, "Book of Swords" will include a new story from George R.R. Martin's "Game of Thrones." The said storyline is reportedly the storyline extension of its predecessor. However, details about it remain scarce and George R.R. Martin has not confirmed the listing yet. Meanwhile, the said book will feature 15 different original tales celebrating fantasy's golden age of sword and sorcery.
