Stephen Curry has never spoken in front of a Convocation before. On March 1, he is going to be the featured speaker at Liberty in partnership with Kick'n It for Africa Humanitarian Partnership. The NBA MVP's scheduled talk is during the March 1 Convocation at Liberty University. This is Stephen Curry's first time ever to join the series. His wife, Ayesha Curry was previously featured in last November's Convocation, as reported by WSET. His brother Seth Curry also previously joined the series.

In her platform, Ayesha talks about her faith, food and family. She also speaks of how lucky she is to have been blessed with a career with the Food Network. Stephen Curry is most likely going to be doing the same thing. Although he did not share his feature content just yet. Still the possibility of him sharing his secret to his success is something a lot of Liberty students are looking forward to. But it is not a strange thing nor too much of a secret because he always points to his faith as his reason for his success.

The Convocation is one of the biggest collection of Christian students. And with Stephen Curry partnering with Kick'n It, they are moving to start an initiative that aims to send shoes to the underprivileged. The initiative was started by Liberty student Emmanuel Ntibonera, as reported by Liberty.

Liberty is asking students to bring a pair of shoes to donate to Kick'n It on March 1 in support of the African Humanitarian Partnership.

Stephen Curry is not only known for leading the Golden State Warriors to their first championship, he is also a known advocate of his faith. His attendance will provide a unique opportunity for Liberty students to hear about his background and inspirations.

Other notable speakers include Simone Biles, Michelle Williams and former governor Bob McDonnell.
