The ground where "The Flash" film is standing right now can only be described as shaky and tumultuous. The film, which will be released next year, had been bombarded with production problems that left fans wonder and worry about its future.

According to reports "The Flash" movie has been generally plagued with controversies even from its inception, Cinema Blend reported. Fans are very vocal in bashing the film's lead star Ezra Miller playing Barry Allen. The negativity of fans accepting Miller as Scarlet Speedster has added the bleak and fuzzy future of the film.

Die-hard fans are clamoring for Grunt Gastin who played Barry Allen in the CW's hit TV series "The Flash" to play the same role in the film. Sources added that with the popularity of "The Flash" series, there will always be a group of fans who want to see Gastin play the scarlet speedster on big screen, even though there is no chance of it happening at all.

Gastin, however, took to Twitter his dismayed over fans bashing Miller, Movie Web reported. He stated that Miller is a fantastic and interesting actor to play Barry Allen and "The Flash" on the feature side of DC.

Gastin is quick to admit that he would have liked to play Barry Allen in the film and expressed his gratitude to fans for the assurance of support. He emphasized that he condoned the type of behavior fans are acting towards Miller.

Meanwhile, two directors have also left "The Flash" film production. Film director Seth Grahame-Smith dropped out of the job in April. The film got back on track again when "Dope" director Rick Fumiyama stepped in as his replacement. However, it seems like the film is cursed as Fumiyama has left too in Fall. Reports claimed that he left the project due to creative differences with DC.

With all these controversies shrouding the "The Flash" film, fans now wonder whether it can take off next year.
