"Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass" DLC features all new-maps, weapons, and playable French Army faction to provide players an experience of an all-out war. Moreover, DICE released concept art images inspired by the 1918 Battle of Verdun showcasing the aftermaths of war.

"Battlefield 1" will have its first DLC pack, which will be released in March 2017. "They Shall Not Pass" will provide players access to maps, weapons and characters for a true-to-life experience of war.

The DICE team release teaser images revealing what the "Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass" DLC will feature. The concept art is inspired by the Battle of Verdun in 1918, reflecting its own versions of the aftermaths of war.

To start, the DLC will provide players with multiple new maps in an undisclosed quantity to explore the new landscape of the Battle of Verdun. This will also include access to the Fort Vaux and the Samogneux village, which was decimated during the war.

There will also be underground bunkers featured in "Battlefield 1" DLC "They Shall Not Pass." The DICE team revealed that these bunkers received a barrage of grenades, poison gases and flamethrowers during the fighting.

Moreover, players of the "Battlefield 1 They Shall Not pass" DLC will get to see a war-torn map showing the remains of a forest after it was caught in the midst of fighting. At the Battle of Verdun, 40 million artillery shells were let loosed, altering the landscape to look like the barren powdery moon, iDigital Times has learned.

Meanwhile, players can receive the "They Shall Not Pass" DLC a week earlier than the others with the "Battlefield 1" Premium Pass at $50. The Pass also offers three other expansions and priority server access, namely, 20 new weapons, Dog Tags, 14 free Superior Battlepacks and more.
