HTC and Under Armour's Smartwatch codenamed "Halfbeak" has surfaced again online. Fans speculate that it will be unveiled soon as more images have been recently leaked by Wiebo, the Chinese microblogging website.

Those who are waiting for "Halfbeak" sees a revelation of the device next month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, The Verge reported. It is worth noting that "Halfbeak" first appeared to be a prototype wearable in a company video in 2014. It is a smartwatch with a heart rate sensor on the underside.

The watch is running a version of Android Wear 1.0 based on leaked images from the microblogging site. Reports disclosed that based on the design alone there is really not much to boast about it as it is simply a circular display with no flat tire or ambient light sensor, Uber Gizmo reported.

All fans are seeing right now is the leaked images of the device. It left them clueless as to what kind of features it will be packing. HTC and Under Armour seemed to mystify fans about "Halfbeak" since no words have also came out about its processor, RAM or its exact sizing.

Since it is an HTC and UA partnership, sources added that the smartwatch will be made specifically for the fitness crowd. So fans speculate that it should come with heart rate tracking, calorie burn counting, sweat resistance, and other various workout-centric use cases, Droid Life reviewed.

It can be recalled that past reports emphasized HTC's CEO Peter Chou's statement of the company being very careful of putting whatsoever in its smartwatch since it does not want to be just another smartwatch in the market. HTC and UA's meticulous development of "Halfbeak" made it even more appealing to fans as it suggest a high quality device with real distinction from other smartwatches.
