The iPhone 7 Plus is the best handset that Apple Inc. has ever produced. Nevertheless, the iPhone 7 was a bit of a disappointment, even for die-hard Apple fans, as the device has no headphone jack and rolled out with the same basic design. In spite of that, the tech giant's latest smartphone can topple the iPhone 6s and even iPhone 6 Plus in a battery endurance test.
The new iPhone 7 Plus comes along with a non-removable lithium-ion battery with 2,900 mAh capacity. The new Apple device offers up to 60 hours of music play and 21 hours of phone calls. The Apple's latest handset can last a couple of days of moderate usage.
Also, a new report from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) reveals that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have gained the lion's share of U.S. sales in the first full quarter on the market, CNET reported.
Meanwhile, Apple's iPhone 6s owners have been reporting on a frustrating battery issue with their handset. It appears that Apple's iPhone 6s will randomly power off when the battery hits the 30 percent mark.
In spite of that, it's a good thing that the Cupertino based tech giant has acknowledged the fiasco, and announced that these handsets were exposed to too much ambient air throughout the course of the manufacturing process.
The tech monster has been providing free battery exchanged for those affected iPhone 6s smartphones. Nonetheless, it seems like the battery issue of the iPhone 6s smartphones haven't been affecting just that particular model. Owners of iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 have been complaining of facing the same issue as well, Macotakara reported.
The tech company had claimed that only a small amount of devices has been affected. Nevertheless, it appears that the number has been increasing. Apple has yet to confirm if the company will be adding the iPhone 6 smartphone to the free battery replacement plan.
