New content has been added to "Halo 5" over the weekend. Game developer 343 Industries now allows players to have Mythic Warzone Firefight on the winter-themed map called March on Stormbreak. A new Req pack was introduced to the first-person shooter video game as well.

The update was announced by 343 Industries on the official "Halo 5" Twitter page. Check out the tweet below.

Being able to play Mythic Warzone Firefight is a refreshing experience from the usual battlegrounds in "Halo 5." The different atmosphere encourages evolving goals and a change of pace, Cinema Blend pointed out.

The "Halo 5" Twitter page also announced the new Team Allegiance Req pack, which comes with black, white, and orange weapon skins and costs $10. Those weapon skins are compatible with the trademark colors of the competitive gaming crew, Team Allegiance.

The "Halo 5" items' launch also seems to celebrate the game's current Halo Championship Series. The Team Allegiance Req pack can be bought on the Microsoft Store.

The January-February 2017 multiplayer season of "Halo 5" was introduced earlier this month. Players can unlock the emblem by completing the game's 10 placement matches. The placements determine a "Halo 5" player's Competitive Skill Rating (CSR), which is either of the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Onyx and Champion ranks, GameSpot listed.

In other news, 343 Industries said this month that they are planning to fix the persistent issues in "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," which contains remastered versions of "Halo: Combat Evolved" and "Halo 2," and standard versions of "Halo 3" and "Halo 4." It has been challenging for some players to find a match, according to GameSpot.

Brian Jarrard, 343 Industries' community manager, said on Reddit (via NeoGAF) that "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" will undergo changes and improvements soon. In a Q&A session for the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, "Halo" boss Bonnie Ross said that they always pay attention to fan feedback for the advancement of "Halo 5." Engaging with players on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook helps the developer recognize issues in the gameplay.
