The latest Power Ranger trailer is out and the movie is only two months away from its premiere night. However, some fans of the franchise have noticed that the much-awaited film's latest trailer showed too much scenes that weren't showed before. Some keen-eyed fans have even noticed that the final battle was shown exactly the way "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" did, so is it still worth seeing in the big screen?

"Power Rangers" New Trailer Showed Too Much

The new trailer for "Power Rangers" shows the combined Megazord taking on the Goldar, which very much seemed like the final showdown. It's easy to think that way especially because there are a lot of people looking forward to this movie. But it could not be the climax of the movie, Nerdist reported.

That's because the main antagonist could be someone else. And that someone else is Rita Repulsa. She has powers over Power Ranger Green and it would be the epic showdown of the movie.

"Power Rangers Not "Batman v Superman"

If moviegoers can remember, DC's BVS took the same path as part of its promotion last year. The final trailer showed Doomsday, the final opponent that brought the Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman together. Everybody was expecting that the main antagonist was Lex Luther but he wasn't and it was revealed right before the movie hit the big theaters.

It's one of the main reasons why the movie wasn't so well-received by the critics. Nevertheless, it was one of the biggest blockbuster films of 2016. The reason for that is because most people, not the critics, wanted to see the live action versions of their favorite superheroes regardless of the movie review.

That's why this movie will earn big in the box office, because really it all boils down to the money; not how much the fans got entertained by what they were watching. Back to the trailer, fans got to see Bryan Cranston the first time, as Zordon, The Verge reported. Not only will he be the holographic face that guides the Rangers, he will also be in a big fight.  

"Power Rangers" will hit the theaters 24 March 2017.
