Portal lead designer Kim Swift has joined the team of Visceral Games. Fans now think they are going to get good quality in Visceral's Star Wars game.

According to Game Planet, Swift will assume the role of design lead in EA's Motive Studios. In addition to Portal, Swift has also worked on a lot of games throughout her career including Quantum Conundrum, Soul Fjord and Left 4 Dead games. In fact, Jade Raymond revealed that Kim's first question to her was when she can set up the Frostbite engine and start prototyping and that shows the type of worker she is.

With not much details being revealed about Visceral's Star Wars game, fans are now more excited with the news that Swift joins director Amy Hennig in the project. The project is currently being led by Ubisoft director Jade Raymond, Game Rant reported.

Ex-Naughty Dog Creative Director Amy Hennig has guaranteed the upcoming Star Wars game is authentic and the expectations for the game has never been more sky high. She added they are working closely with that worked with the Star Wars movies in order to define authenticity and how they can make more of Visceral's Star Wars game.

EA Motive producer Jade Raymond said in a statement about her hiring that Kim Swift is someone who has been recognized in Forbes' 30 under 30: Games & Apps list and has been named one of the most recognized women in the industry. She continued to praise swift by saying she brought home numerous awards in the Game Developers Choice Awards including Best Game Design, Best Innovation and Game of the Year as reported by PC Gamer. She would want nothing more than to bring a winner to the development of Visceral's Star Wars game.
