Japan's already experiencing the wonders of "Persona 5" and it would take until 4 April 2017 for the game to reach the shores of the US. Meanwhile, Deep Silver released a new trailer of the game to appease fans, all the while revealing a stylish "Persona 5" gameplay that shows off mechanics on the game's dungeons. The publisher said "Persona 5" trailer shows how to deal with the shadows and infiltrate palaces; but there's really more for keen-eyed fans to see.

"Persona 5": The Japanese RPG Franchise

"Persona 5" is the first core update of the game since "Persona 4's" release in 2008. Players who are new to Persona will find it centered on a bunch of high school kids who bear magical "personas" with the use of several magical items, Mic Tech reported. In the case of "Persona 5" the items are the masks.

The latest "Persona 5" trailer focuses on the "palaces" and with the new gameplay, it would seem that players will have a chance to avoid or engage in combat encounters because of the game's combination of traditional-turn based combat and stealth. It also shows off how players can wield personas and pass on batons, and negotiating with foes. It also has a comic SFX style UI, which is just gorgeous.

"Persona 5" will be released in PS3 and PS4 in April and will be featuring this group of delinquents who call themselves Phantom thieves, VG 24/7 reported. In a way the strategy of "Persona 5" is appealing to the younger market because of the young protagonists in the game. They live dual lives, going through their mundane activities as students by day and fighting off otherworldly forces by night.

"Persona 5": The Game Mechanics

The graphical overlay gives the entire game the extra zing and according to Atlus, its developer, players can hold up shadows to make them yield items or money, or a chance to avoid combat entirely. The players can even convince these shadows to be used as a Persona or to join the team of Phantom Thieves. But according to Atlus, if you prefer to slay the shadows you encounter along the way, you're also free to do so.
