Samsung Galaxy S6 Active phone users are getting a security patch for their mobile device but AT&T changelog has not revealed whether any other bugs have been fixed with the update. It is an OTA update with build number MMB29K.G890AUCS5CPK4.

According to AT&T the security update weighs 14.1 MB, Tech Times reported. The Galaxy S6 Active is the rugged version of the Samsung Galaxy S6. It is meant to target consumers who led active lives with tough demanding outdoor jobs.

While tons of galaxy smartphones and tablet owners are now running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, some people are still waiting for their update to arrive. Marshmallow updates have already started rolling out in India, the United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, Iraq and the Netherlands. Most recently, updates have also landed for models in Afghanistan, Croatia, Germany, Czech Republic, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines and some countries in Europe.

Reports claimed that Samsung may have delivered bug fixers, new security builds to its devices but the recent Anroid 6.0.1 Marshmallow update brings its own set of frustrating problems, Gotta Be Mobile reported. According to the report AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint Galaxy Note 5 users are complaining about battery drain, Wi-Fi issues, and various download problems. Other users are alsoseeingproblems with Bluetooth, the Amazon app, and Voicemail.

Samsung Galaxy S7 also joined the bandwagon as users are seeing sync issues, battery life problems, and app issues including Chrome. Sources added that Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy Note 4 users are also seeing much of the same Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow problems including random reboot issues and boot loops.

Mobile tech writers cautioned phone owners who might decide to download the update that there would be a huge possibility to encounter similar problems with other phone owners who updated their phones to Android 6.0.1 version.
