The tactical RPG "God Wars: Future Past" is set to launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita both physically and digitally in North America on March 28, and March 31 in Europe. The tactical RPG features English and Japanese audio with English subtitles.

The "God Wars: Future Past" video game explores the untold history of Japan by means of its folklore and tactical combat. While the tactical RPG will tell traditional stories about the origins of Japan via the lens of three warring nations, it also promises a massive expanse of tactical options for gamers to develop battle strategies, which includes a myriad of character classes and equipment, according to Gematsu.

The "God Wars: Future Past" video game will come along with a wealth of customization and tactics. Wherein, a player can customize 14 playable characters from more than 30 classes with 400+ skills. There are more than 250 unique pieces of equipment as a player mold their party to face each new challenge.

The tactical RPG boasts visuals from another age, which is inspired by traditional Japanese ink painting and wood carving art. The "God Wars" artwork will transport game enthusiasts to an age filled with mythology and wonder.

In addition to the unique job classes for all of "God Wars: Future Past" characters, the video game also allows players to visit a shrine before battles, in order to boost the units' abilities and powers. By making offerings to the gods, a player will acquire stat bonuses in battle, which will surely lead to a favorable result, according to PlayStation Blog.

Nevertheless, the news of "God Wars: Future Past" for the PlayStation consoles comes after a Japanese release date postponement. Originally, the video game was supposed to release in Japan on Feb. 23, 2017. The game was delayed to allow more work on things, such as control schemes, user interface (UI), and battle tempo, Siliconera reported.
