Moto 360 is officially removed from Google Store but tech crowds can expect new timepieces that will have Android Wear 2.0 pre-installed.

Second-gen Moto 360 exits Google Store

There's been a lot going on lately in the realm of smartwatch and a surprising news came just recently when Google Store finally removed Moto 360 from its listing reportedly due to poor performance. Ubergizmo reported that the pricey Moto smartwatch could be one of the reasons why it drove consumers away.

Previously, Moto 360 received a huge price cut but as it seemed fail to patch the lacks in the first generation - the wearable device has to give the throne to other better specced smartwatches.

For Moto 360 alternatives, consumers can consider Asus ZenWatch 3 or a more premium one, Samsung Gear S3.

Android Wear 2.0 update ready to roll out in February

A tweet from famous tipster Evan Blass unofficially confirmed that Android Wear 2.0 update will arrive on Feb. 9, Droid-Life reported. Google will bring a few new important features along with the patch - that includes standalone apps that won't require the handset to open.

Tech geeks can expect new smartwatches to come with Android Wear 2.0. The LG Watch series, Sport and Style, will be the first to arrive with Android Wear 2.0 and both are integrated with Google-Assistant and Android Pay.

Older devices like Huawei Watch, Michael Kors Access Bradshaw, ZenWatch 2, Fossil Q Wander, LG Watch Urbane and Moto 360 series are most likely to receive the update.
