In an interview, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" creative director Mac Walters revealed a Project Scorpio version of the game is something he would welcome. Project Scorpio is Microsoft's newest console that is expected to be out later this year.

According to Games Radar, Walters was also asked if they will dedicate their same amount of effort as they did with the amount of enhancements to the PS4 version, he said their aim for Game of the Year edition still stands. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" producer Michael Gamble previously said there were no plans for a Scorpio version of the game but a lot can change from now until the release.

Project Scorpio is not scheduled to be released to the public until a long time after the release of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." However, the words of Walters did inspire a slim hope that there will be a Scorpio enhanced Game of the Year edition in the future.

According to CoG Connected, BioWare General Manager Aaryn Flynn confirmed on Twitter that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will support HDR on its PS4 and Xbox One versions. Flynn also said the game would support both Dolby Vision and HDR10 which means it won't matter which among the two you find superior since they are both available.

Several gamers have expressed concern that BioWare has been rushing "Mass Effect: Andromeda" since they are not seeing much content despite the fact that it is very close to the game's release. Lead Designer Ian Frazier denied rushing the game on Twitter as he cited the game took five years of development which is more than the development of several games combined. He was also asked why there hasn't been much gameplay released and his answer was it was their option not to.
