Microsoft will improve Xbox One's home button functionality. Wherein, the main switch will now provide navigational flexibility and live streaming activity. This improvement will theoretically change the gaming experience altogether by providing easy access to Xbox One players.

The Xbox One update will make it easier for players to perform common tasks. By pressing the guide button, which normally leads the player to the home screen, Xbox One players will now be offered with the Guide feature. The feature will appear on the left-hand side of the screen, according to Game Spot.

The Guide feature is accessible throughout Xbox One use. This means that Xbox One gamers can visit the same even while voice chatting, recording footage, browsing the Xbox Store or even during gameplay. The Guide feature also provides users an easy access to modify the GameDVR settings, which can now be recorded. Furthermore, the update allows Xbox One users to adjust the recording time, Cinema Blend reported.

Nevertheless, Windows also made it known that it will be adding GameScore Leaderboard, a new Cortana design and a new Achievement tracking overlay. Another addition is controls for background music. What might be the most important is that Microsoft is revamping a number of Xbox's more popular multitasking features.

That being said, the entire concept of this Xbox One update is to make it easier to use the gaming system, as well as give the Xbox One home button more use. This concept also links well into the quality of life feature for players who are currently playing on Windows 10 Game Mode.
