Motorola is Likely to Unveil Moto G5 Plus in MWC 2017

The Lenovo-owned Motorola has started sending invites to media outlets for their press conference in MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Spain this coming February 26th. According to Android Authority, although the invitation does not clearly specify what the company has in store for the event, speculations and rumors suggest that the company is likely to unveil the most-hyped Moto G5 Plus.

Accordingly, the invitation has shown a phone that's casting a shadow resembling to the shape of Sagrada Familia Church in Barcelona; thus, others immediately jumped into the a conclusion the possibility of witnessing the Moto G5 Plus unveiling during the event. Furthermore, the press image of the phone that was posted in Weibo, a Chinese social network site has strongly confirmed the evidence of the existence of the phone with codename Cedric (XT1670).

Moto G5 Plus Features and Specs

The alleged Moto G5 Plus has reported spotted in a Romanian site called OLX, although the details have already been deleted from the site, The Indian Express reported that the phone sports a 5.5-inch FHD display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage and slot for microSD card.

Furthermore, Moto G5 Plus is also said to be powered by 3080 mAh battery pack and sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel for the front camera. In addition, the phone is expected to run Android 7 Nougat as well as to feature a fingerprint scanner.

Aside from Moto G5 Plus, Motorola is also presumed to reveal Moto Mod accessories for Moto Z lineup smartphones. Mobile World Congress is an annual trade show where most giant manufacturers and tech firms such as Samsung, Xiaomi and LG releases their new smartphones.
