KONAMI releases its "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links" card games to more than 150 regions outside of Japan. With nine million downloads in Japan since November last year, its publisher capitalizes on that success and is now making it available to other countries for Android and iOS devices.

"Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links" World Wide Release

KONAMI announced that it will start the release of "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links" card games in North America, Asia and Oceania regions, Phone Arena reported. Later on, it will roll out in Europe, South America, and finally in Africa. The game won't come out in South Korea and China yet.

Duel Link was first released in Japan on November 17, 2016 and reached 9 million downloads in just two months, making it the number 12 most downloaded game in Apple App Store Japan, Venture Beat reported. Now, it is planning to get a share of the $36 billion global mobile games market. Currently, the leading digital card games is Blizzard's "Hearthstone."

"Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links" Game Play

"Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links" has a multiplayer and a single player mode. The single player campaign mode lets the players duel against their favorite "Yu-Gi-Oh!" characters. They will get various rewards for every Stage mission they beat.

But the real deal when it comes to playing "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links" is its online PVP, where players can duel against other players from all over the world. This mode is also the main source of income for the developers. Before going on duels, the players can build and edit their decks with the card they have collected during the game.

Players can also buy new cards from the shop using in-game currency. Fans can download "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links" for free on their iOS and Android devices, that runs on Android 4.4 and iOS 8.0 and higher. The game comes with in-app purchases.
