HTC is gearing up to announce its U series and three new Android smartphones ahead of MWC 2017. The mobile phone network company is said to host its U event in Jan. 12, where it will unleash HTC U Ultra (codenamed Ocean Note), One X10 and HTC U Play (Alpine). Now, live images of HTC U Ultra or the Ocean Note have been leaked online.

The HTC U Ultra or the Ocean Note is seen to be sporting a secondary display, a display that resembles an LG V20 Android smartphone. The Taiwanese tech giant doesn't seem to be going for Always on display on the HTC U Ultra. As an alternative, the HTC U Ultra or the Ocean Note smartphone will have a secondary screen on the top right corner for displaying date, time and a number of shortcuts.

HTC U Ultra will feature a capsule-shaped home button, as well as a glossy back. The HTC U Ultra or the Ocean Note smartphone has been leaked in four color variations - black, blue, pink and white, according to Indian Express.

The design of the HTC Ocean Note gives off a Galaxy S7 vibe, but it has been pointed out that there's a prominent camera hump, a feature that Samsung ditched in recent smartphones. The HTC U Ultra or the Ocean Note smartphone also appears to have an all-glass frame, which makes for a shimmery effect, just like Huawei's Honor 8 Android smartphone, Android Police reported.

The HTC Ocean Note moniker of the device suggests that it might belong to the phablet category. Nevertheless, the smartphone will come along with a 5.7-inch QHD display, and the HTC Ocean Note is anticipated to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, with 4GB of RAM. The HTC Ocean Note smartphone has been tipped to be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and with an internal storage of 64GB, according to Venture Beat.
