Psyonix released on January 10 its "Rocket League" update 1.27 to fix the in-game bugs on its Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions. Meanwhile, the developers are riding the wave of success and are also planning to release a Nintendo Switch version of the game.

Live Update

The new update will have different sizes depending on the platform of the game, with the PS4 version with only 291MB, PC with 1.1GB, and Xbox One with 1.7 GB, Segment Next reported. The main purpose of the new update is to fix the bugs that players reported. Also, Rocket Lab Arenas and Casual Playlists added Utopia Coliseum (Snow) to its Snow Day Playlist.

One of the notable bugs that were fixed is the experimental goal-post collision, Express reported. Another is the removal of the "GO!" counter featured in Custom Training. "Seamless Bot Replacement" will now properly work in the Unranked online matches.

Some players complain that they got stuck in the Replay Meny after they deleted some replays. Now, this issue has been addressed. Selecting "Free Play" also brings the Loading Screen, which is also fixed with the new update.

There are some cases where the Emoji entry on Xbox One wasn't displayed. This issue has been solved with the update. The UI scale setting can now be saved on PS4, and the rank label update that to change colors and division text is now fixed.

Nintendo Switch Version Coming

Sony revealed that "Rocket League" was one of 2016's most downloadable game. It bested "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Minecraft," and "Battlefield 1." It is also one of the top selling games on the PS Store in North America and Europe.

Psyonix seem to be taking advantage of this streak of success as it also plans to launch the "Rocket League" game's Nintendo Switch version soon. This would definitely increase the number of fans playing this game, which is already in multitudes.
