Project Valerie is Razer's latest eye catching hardware at the CES 2017 event. It's not every day you can see a triple display powered by a simple laptop.

Project Valerie Hardware Specs

Each screen measures over 17 inches and features 4K capability, according to the official Razer site. The laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphic card. The Surround View also features breathtaking 11520 x 2160 resolutions.

Each of the screens is powered by NVIDIA's G-sync technology. This feature enables the GPU to smoothen the image in case the laptop's CPU is too fast for the monitors. The Blade Pro Chassis provides the necessary support for the triple screen. Deploying the screens is automatic since user simply needs to press a button.

This is probably the ultimate game laptop based on its triple display alone. Apart from gaming, this will also work great for those working on projects that require big screens. People running multiple applications will have no problem with multi-tasking with this kind of hardware.

Critics Take on Project Valerie

The first concern about the Project Valerie's triple screen display is its stability. The screens are foldable but the two side ones are supported by hinges. Razer spokesperson Kevin Sather said that they have basically reduced the triple display desktop into a laptop sized one. The Project Valerie preview video is available here.

Project Valerie shared the CES limelight with a fellow Razer hardware. In contrast, Project Ariana allows users to play games or uses their favorite application on their wall. The experimental projector featured a light show that won the crowd. Basically, the projector engulfs the room with the same environment as the game. This gives the players the sensation or feeling that they are inside the game. The immersive experience is probably the same as in VR games but without the headache. Razer is expected to announce the exact date as to when these products are available to the general public.
