Nokia Phones have finally marked its return to the mobile industry after HMD Global, Nokia's new owner, launched in China the very first Nokia Android smartphone, the Nokia 6. However, many Nokia fans are wondering why HMD Global decided to launch Nokia 6 in China alone. Fans are looking forward to its return to the market.

It is quite interesting that HMD Global launched the Nokia 6 in China despite the tough competition in the smartphone industry. China is home to affordable, yet powerful, Android smartphones such as Lenovo, Meizu, OnePlus, Huawei, Xiaomi and many others. Entering such a huge market, can HMD Global stand out with its Nokia branded smartphones, especially now they are in the process of re-establishing the brand?

According to Forbes, the decision made by HMD Global to launch the Nokia 6 in China has just opened up a number of interesting dynamics as the Chinese market is still in the growth phase. The company believes that it will be a lot easier to re-establish in such Market. The company will not need much logistics due to a shorter line of supply from the production down to the single retailer.

In addition, HMD Global revealed that China is a strategically important market as it has a huge number of smartphone users, hundreds of millions of them. This will be the first step towards attaining the real world needs of consumers worldwide, Engadget reported.

The Nokia 6 is sporting a 5.5 inch Full HD display with2.5D Corning Gorilla glass that runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and Adreno 505 GPU with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The new Nokia Android smartphone has a non-removable battery of 3000 mAh and it supports dual SIM card. The home button has an embedded fingerprint scanner, a Dolby Atmos speakers, a 16-megapixel rear camera and 8MP front camera, NDTV reported.
