The plot has been revealed for "Thor: Ragnarok" and it has been confirmed that Thor will battle his Avengers stablemate The Incredible Hulk in the movie. It confirms rumors that circulated late last year.

In the third and likely final installment of the movie, Thor finds himself imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his Mjolnir, trusty hammer. He is in a challenging race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok.

Ragnarok will lead to the destruction of Thor's home and the end of the Asgardian civilization according to the Independent. It is controlled by the villainous Hela but before that, he must survive a gladiatorial contest against his former friend, the Incredible Hulk.

One of the most memorable moments in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" was when The Incredible Hulk punched Thor out of the screen. Fans will get to see more of that in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok according to MTV.

Both Thor and The Incredible Hulk were noticeably absent from "Captain America: Civil War" when The Avengers was divided into two, one that was led by Captain America and the other being led by Iron Man. Apart from The Incredible Hulk, it was recently confirmed that Thor also has to deal with his arch-nemesis Loki and Doctor Strange in the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok."

"Thor: Ragnarok" stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Middleston as Loki, Mark Ruffalo as the Incredible Hulk, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and two-time Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett as Hela. The film is directed by Taika Waitit and co-written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost.
