The NES Classic, Nintendo's best-selling console of the Christmas season, currently has 30 of the best games ever in it. However, hackers have found a way to add even more games to the console.

According to Game Rant, the NES Classic sold around 200,000 units November of last year alone, which already puts it ahead of the Wii Us in terms of sales. It is impressive for a small box running a proprietary NES emulator equipped with 30 games. True gamers will get tired of these games easily, especially since games like Metal Gear, Tetris, Contra and Battle Toads were left off the roster.

The hack for NES Classic, according to CNet, does not even require gamers to use a screwdriver. Hackers only need a Micro-USB cable, a PC, a willingness for a possible malware and the ignorance of the law -- downloading copies of Nintendo's games off the net is illegal.

It was originally thought that there would not be much interest in the NES Classic but that was not the case at all. Hackers are interested on making it even better. There is now a possibility that Nintendo will release new versions with each one having a different lineup of games.

The NES Classic actually sold out at major retailers in record time so gamers went to eBay hoping to get their hands on the console only to find out it was being sold every 18 seconds last Nov. 11. Some retailers saw how demand for the product has increased so they raise their price to as high as $230, which is a ridiculous price for a console that's basically a tribute to the 1980s.
