Faraday Future's FF91 smashed Tesla Model S P100D-Killer speed record. The company makes this bold claim during its FF91 CES 2017 debut in Las Vegas. FF91 is powered by 1,050-horsepower making it the world's fastest electric car. Aside from being one of its kind cars, FF91 is reportedly able to accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.39 seconds. This a proof that it really outscored Tesla Model S P100D's 2.5 seconds record considering it is with "Ludicrous Mode."

Faraday Future added that FF91 performs better in longer range than any other commercially available electric car having an estimated 378 miles record for a single charge of its 130 kWh battery. With this power, Faraday Future also claimed to have reached the fastest charging time using a home battery charger capable of juicing from 50 percent to full charge in just 4.5 hours, according to Inhabitat.

In 2014, the company has promised to bring cars with futuristic features. By then, only Tesla delivers with promise producing top of the lines and record-setter cars. The flow has changed as time passed by and now 2017, Faraday Future's FF91 successfully became the company's proof of its promise after only coming up with mere concepts.

Moreover, the company has ventured into building its own $1billion production base near Las Vegas. However, the company started accepting pre-orders of the fastest car FF91 to sustain its production. Faraday Future is reaching out to investors to be able to fund its gigantic needs. Apart from the funds needed from the investors, this American company is funded by Chinese billionaire Jia Yueting.

According to Yahoo News, Faraday Future is auctioning one FF91 unit for an environmental charity in an unnamed event. The production will start in late 2018. While the price for each FF91 is in the price range of premium Sedan which reportedly amounts to $100,000.
