The video game company, Mojang, continues their efforts to standardize Minecraft's features across PC, mobile and console. Wherein, the PC version of "Minecraft" has sold 25 million copies. Mojang's sandbox video game really blitzed the sales charts.

The "Minecraft" developer, Michael (Searge) Stoyke, hit on his Twitter account and announced that the"Minecraft" PC version recently sold over 25 million copies. While the massively multiplayer online RPG, "World of Warcraft," tops that number if expansions sold will be included. But, nothing touches Mojang's sandbox video game for a stand-alone game sales on the PC.

Nevertheless, the 25 million copies sold of "Minecraft" only includes PC versions of the video game. The Pocket Edition, which also went on sale to the public in 2011, far outsell the PC versions of "Minecraft" in most countries.

The sandbox video game's console releases are also huge, especially in Latin America and Europe. Overall, more than 100 million versions of the video game populated PCs, consoles, phones, and tablets around the world, according to US Gamer.

On the other hand, the essential conversion of the "Minecraft: Pocket Edition" is the "Minecraft" Apple TV Edition. The "Minecraft" Apple TV Edition is not only the biggest game to hit the Apple TV, also simultaneously the prominent video game on the device to require a gamepad, which a gamer won't be able to play the game with the Siri Remote.

The Apple TV Edition of "Minecraft" is almost identical to Pocket Edition in nearly every respect. Nonetheless, the Apple TV Edition doesn't come along with a couple of features, such as the official service for setting up, running private Minecraft servers, support for Realms and the ability to sign into Xbox Live. The features are said to be in development, Mac World reported.
