Good camera capture even in low light, worthy of its price, these are just some of the good feedback given to Huawei Honor 6X after it has been release yesterday. But hours after its launched there are claims suggesting that buyers should better stick with Huawei's Honor 5X.

• Operating System

According to Digital Trends, one of the low points of Huawei Honor 6X is its operating system. The phone is equipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is not the latest version. Fans could have enjoyed Honor 6X more had it been packed with Android 7.0 Nougat Update. However, in a previous announcement, Huawei announced that a line of its mobile phones will have the latest version of Android, Know Your Mobile reported.

• Display

Honor 6X will sport the same display feature found on Honor 5X (5.5-inch 1920x1080). Critics find this as tricky for Huawei to have the same display feature with its previous version marketed in a higher price value.

• Battery Life

Huawei Honor 6X's 3340 mAh battery is also under fire. Critics question why the phone has an average battery life when it needed more to support the specs and features built within the phone. Honor 5X's 3000 mAh battery is still favored by some noting that the latter is only available for $199.

No carrier support

Honor 6X lack of network support is an issue to raise for Huawei's phone designer. The phone does not have 3G and 4G/LTE capability. This feature is most used in communication and in social media. More travelers and adventure bloggers rely on these services in the absence of Wi-Fi and internet. Shelving the data connectivity support from sim carriers is not a good step forward. Such feature is available in its predecessor Honor 5X.

The minimal upgrade from Huawei's Honor 6X does not leave an impact at all. Such features are already available in Huawei Honor 5X which is even more affordable for a budget concerned buyer.
