Razer Blade Pro and Alienware 13 P3 are both gaming laptops that have been upgraded for this year. With the current beefed up on their software and hardware, which among the two turns out to be the ultimate powerful laptop of today's generation? Check the following specs comparison and see full details for the verdict!

Design

Razer Blade Pro is considered as the biggest one made by the company so far weighing 7.8 pounds, 0.88 thickness and 16.7 inches when fully stretch while Alienware 13 R3 is said to be thicker than its rival with .92 mm of thickness, according to Digital Trends. Both gaming laptops are considered not portable because of their sizes.

Winner: Razer Blade Pro

Keyboard and Trackpad

Razer Blade Pro keyboard is said to be completely different because it delivers a new typing technology which called ultra-low-profile mechanical key switches which considers being a minor revolution of mobile typing. The laptop also shows a unique trackpad which unusually lies at the right side of the keys but it's not necessarily a bad thing, according to Engadget.

On the other hand, Alienware 13 R3 keyboard deviates from the old school one because of its hybrid key caps that comes in square and enclosed in a distinctive border. The laptop's trackpad is the one considered as old school and not responsive enough when handling multi-touch gestures.

Winner: Razer Blade Pro

Display and Sound

Razer Blade Pro sports a 17.2 inch IGZO with screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 integrated with touchscreen functionality and is said to be powerful enough to play modern games in 4k because of its wide viewing angles, bright colors, deep blacks and RGB colorspace of Adobe. On the other hand, Alienware 13 R3 features an OLED display with 2560 x 1440 screen resolution and is almost at par with the clarity level of retina display.

When it comes to audio output, Razer Blade Pro is said to have a better output because of the two acoustic holes located in the chassis that throws the sound away from the laptop to fill the entire room. On the other hand, Alienware 13 R3 lacks bass which hurts the overall game presentation.

Winner: Razer Blade Pro

Performance

Razer Blade Pro is powered by Intel Core i7-6700HQ with 2.6GHz clock speed coupled with 3GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU while Alienware 13 R3 runs the same processor but performs well for quad-core games.
