Albeit missing sound effects, movie fans were thrilled when they got a glimpse of another trailer of the upcoming American action-adventure horror film "The Mummy." The accidental uploading by IMAX to YouTube gathered hilarious but positive feedback about the upcoming film.

The hilarity of it all falls upon the ridiculous unedited grunts and moans without sound effects on the background that made fans look forward to seeing the movie all the more. The film, which is a reboot of the "The Mummy" franchise promises stunning moments and nerve-wracking, high-octane stunts, reports Polygon.

Truly an action-packed film, it also boasts its A-list lead actor Tom Cruise who propelled the film into a new cinematic version of thrills and adventures from the sweeping sand of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London. Cinema Blend added that "The Mummy" brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder especially that it ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.

Meanwhile, film director Alex Kurtzman confirmed that they are indeed changing the mummy's gender and design due to similarities of Oscar Isaac's character En Sabah Nur in "X-Men: Days of the Future Past" movie. The director claimed that they started all over again with the whole mummy design and with finality opted for a female mummy, which he had actually thought beforehand, Screen Rant has learned.

Risen from the dead, the eponymous Princess Ahmanet played by "Star Trek Beyond" Sofia Boutella will now have a pale skin and tattered dress, along with some cool curse elements. Sources added that Boutella's costume as well as the character is considerably different from the villain of the previous iterations of the "The Mummy" franchise.

The film also offered new casts aside from Cruise who portrayed Nick Morton, a character that is yet to be known but fans speculated might be connected to the military, and Anabelle Wallis who is a scientist and oversees the transport of the titular mummy. Digital Spy added that the film will be released on June 9, 2017 in the UK and the US.

Sources added that there is only one film scheduled for release on that date and its "World War Z2," however, the film is not seen as a threat to "The Mummy" as its biggest rival is foreseen to likely be "Wonder Woman," which arrives on June 2.
