Asus just announced its ZenWatch 3 Rose Gold Variant joining its roster of chic and deluxe smartwatches. The Rose Gold ZenWatch joins Silver and Gunmetal color options. This edition sells at $369.

Specs

ZenWatch 3 is equipped with 400 x 400px resolution display and 287ppi pixel density. This feature guarantees a crystal clear display on the smartwatch and gives users a true deep-black experience and pin-sharp display on each watch face. ZenWatch 3 is user-friendly. Proof to this is the thin bezels occupies minimal space on the surface providing a 1.39-inches screen size and three-button design for easy operation, VR-Zone reported.

The killer feature ZenWatch 3 has is its ambient light sensor. Asus succeeded in this part which combines the technology used by Huawei and Moto to ease the previous issue.

Software

Meanwhile, according to 9To5Mac review, ZenWatch 3 runs Android Wear. This is an outdated version that gives users the assumption that the ZenWatch 3 will run just the same with its predecessor. But Asus proved us wrong once more. It is a departure from the previous software also found in Huawei Watch and Second Generation Moto 360.

Performance

Asus ZenWatch 3 is powered by Snapdragon Wear 2100. However, it's the new SBW 2100 functions the same way as its predecessor Snapdragon 400. Although there must a problem in the unit used in the review since it has improved on the second day of testing, 9To5Mac added. And as the performance test week progressed, less and fewer glitches are noticed in the smartwatch.

Battery Life

ZenWatch 3 successfully impressed the reviewer on this area. It lived up to the expectation that smartphone are good only with a durable battery that could for a day or so. Plus it has a special feature called "HyperCharge." This allows users to charge ZenWatch 3 for only 12 minutes but actually load the battery with 15 percent lifeline.

ZenWatch 3 is truly impressive. With its absolute performance and great features it is priced lower than expected.
