More details about the Exynos 8895 chipset, which is said to be used in the upcoming Galaxy S8, have mounted up the internet. Samsung's Galaxy S8 will use chipsets from two different manufacturers. A person might get a Galaxy S8 with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835, or by Samsung's homegrown Exynos 8895.

A trusted tech tipster posted on Weibo that the new chipset of Galaxy S8 will be responsible for the said improvement. Wherein, the Exynos 8895 chipset will reportedly stretch the clock speeds of up to 3.0 GHz, and run at a maximum power draw of five watts. Apart from being Samsung's own chipset, it is also said that the South Korean tech company's first chip was manufactured on the 10nm process, WCCF Tech reported

Nevertheless, based on the leaked specifications of the Exynos 8895, the chipset rolls out in two versions, the 8895V and the 8895M. These models of the Exynos 8895 only differ from one another in two aspects, according to Sam Mobile.

First, the 8895M will reportedly feature a quad-core Samsung-designed M2 performance CPU cluster clocked 200 MHz higher than the 8895V. Second, the G71 GPU in the 8895M gets two extra cores compared to the 8895V.

The leaked data regarding Samsung's own Exynos 8895 chipset points out that the tech giant will continue with its rebound efforts following the fiasco of the Galaxy Note 7. The new specs suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will be focused on advanced photography, which is an upgrade that can also be seen in A10 Fusion and Apple's iPhone 7.

In addition to the Exynos 8895 chipset, buyers of Galaxy S8 can also get their smartphone with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset. That is, depending on where the smartphone is purchased. In spite of that, Samsung has yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
