A company based in China has created an action camera perfect for capturing adventurists' extreme outdoor activities. Yi Technology's Yi 4K+ will be unveiled early next year and it comes with impressive specs.

The Yi 4K+ is capable of capturing 4K resolution shots and footages at 60 frames per second, which departs from the typical 30 fps of other action cameras out in the market, Digital Trends reported. Faster frame rates are greatly appreciated in action cameras because it provides a smoother quality to quick motion shots. Faster frame rates also allow a shot to be edited into slow motion.

According to Engadget, The Yi 4K+ appears to be an upgrade of the company's original 4K action camera, which is capable of streaming video clips through Wi-Fi, has a 2.19-inch display, and two hours of battery life.

Yi Technology thinks of itself as a "challenger brand." The company makes affordable cameras, with the Yi 4K+ as its third action camera. The device is expected to be launched at Las Vegas' CES 2017 on January 5 to 8 along with the company's Yi Erida drone, dash camera, home security cameras, the professional level mirror-less camera and the YI M1, I4U News listed.

The Erida camera drone is touted to be the fastest three-rotor drone, clocking in at 75 mph for up to 40 minutes. The drone comes with a gimbal, manual exposure adjustments and a sensor system for safer flights. Its three rotors can fold in to achieve a compressed design.

The Erida drone's camera has an integrated touchscreen and is capable of recording up to 120 minutes of 4K video, SlashGear reported. Smooth shooting is possible even during flights because of the device's advanced gimbal system.

The camera of the Erida drone can be controlled manually via direct control over shutter, level sensitivity, metering mode, white balance and exposure value compensation. The device can also be controlled via a smartphone's Yi Erida mobile app. Aside from those features, the drone's safety is extra guaranteed thanks to its advanced sensor and radar system.
