The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will soon be launched as Samsung finalizes the process before release like the recent Wi-Fi certification that followed the one from TENAA, a Chinese regulatory agency. The phone, the newest addition to the Galaxy C family is set to go on sale by January 21, 2017 along with the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has been the subject of various rumors and speculations on what Samsung has in store for the new Galaxy C family addition including the C7 Pro. The January release date is unconfirmed, but recent listings and leaks reportedly support the time frame especially when the phone has already received its Wi-Fi certification.

Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro Key Specs

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has 16MP rear-facing camera and also a 16MP for the selfie and video chats. It has a 5.2-inch display with Gorilla glass and 1080x1920 FHD resolution, Phone Arena reported.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 626 SoC with an octa-core 2.2GHz CPU, Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy C% pro comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshamllow out-of-the box with the usual Samsung trappings like the Touchwiz and a couple of customized tweaks for the Chinese consumers.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro comes in three color options, namely, gold, blue and pink. When it comes to design and overall appearance, the C5 Pro has a metallic body very similar to the recent iPhone or the HTC phones according to Android Headlines.

There is no indication that the phone will appear in CES 2017 since the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is intended for the Chinese market unless Samsung copies Xiaomi's approach of tweaking domestic products for worldwide consumption. As of date, the unconfirmed report points to January 21, 2017 when the C5 and C7 Pro will go on sale.
